The interdisciplinary Digital Supply Chain Management minor extends the education in enterprise systems and technology across business, engineering, and technology disciplines.  Jointly offered by the Jaggi School of Business, Engineering Management and System Engineering, and Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, this certificate represents a collaborative initiative between the Kummer College of Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Economic Development and the College of Engineering and Computing.

The program prepares students to integrate enterprise systems, data analytics, and supply chain strategies in support of digital transformation across industry.  With hands-on access to live ERP systems and advanced analytical platforms, the program bridges theories, research, and real-world applications to prepare graduates for careers as industry professionals, future researchers, and educators.

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems provide the foundation for digital transformation by integrating business processes with supply chains, customer management, analytics, and enterprise AI. By combining academic knowledge with hands-on experience, students develop the ability to analyze complex enterprise systems, solve business problems, and drive digital transformation across industries.

The interdisciplinary Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) minor bridges theory and practice through hands-on experience with live, industry-grade enterprise platforms, including Missouri S&T’s self-hosted SAP S/4HANA environment, SAP cloud solutions, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and other enterprise technologies. Missouri S&T is the only R1 university and one of the very few SAP self-hosted universities in the United States, providing a distinctive environment for both teaching and research.

The ERP minor prepares students to apply, analyze, and innovate with enterprise technologies, developing practical skills for immediate career opportunities while building the academic foundation for advanced study, research, and leadership in ERP and digital transformation.
